About Kvitåvatn Fjellstue
The Fjellstue is situated in an area of dramatic natural beauty 945 MASL with a stunning view of the highest mountain of southern Norway, the Gaustatoppen (1883 MASL), and of the Lake Kvitaavatn.
It is a big modern lodge, run by the daily leaders, Susanne og Martin Kissow. Kviaavatn Fjellstue provides a friendly, cosy and relaxed atmosphere in the fireplace lounges of plain Danish design. The range of accommodation is flexible from modern hotel rooms to small Norwegian timber huts. A winter or summer holiday at Kvitavatn Fjellstue will provide you with lots of fantastic nature experiences and cosy family activities. We are ready to welcome you!
A skiing holiday at Kvitaavatn gives you direct access to 85 km of prepared cross-country skiing tracks and 35 km downhill runs, served by 12 ski lifts.
